Art For Arf's Sake Auction...

This is the piece that I submitted fort he Humane Society of Berks County Art For Arf's Sake Auction. The auction raises money for the shelter. This years attendance was over 400 people. Many local and national artists contributed pieces to the auction. My painting titled "Luna" (12"x24" acrylic on canvas) sold for $250.00 in the live auction. Sorry about the poor photo...the colors washed out for some reason.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier WIP...

Here are a couple of pictures of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier commission as work in progress. The first is the initial paint sketch. The second shows the under painting. The third shows the first coat of the gray going over the under painting. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the progress. The last photo is a close up to show detail.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Commission...

I was recently commissioned to do two paintings of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both were done from photos. The first is the "Staffy" as a pup with one of his litter mates (5"x7" acrylic on canvas). The second is the dog as an adult (8"x10" acrylic on canvas).

I would like to thank everyone who came out for the opening reception last month and those who visited the show during the past three weeks. A special thanks to everyone that purchased paintings. I am donating 50% of my sales to the shelter to help support the animals.
