Meet the artist...
- Lowell
- Lowell King was born and raised in Western New York State. Lowell attended Buffalo State College where he completed his studies in sculpture, painting and printmaking; earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1991. In his senior year, Lowell received special recognition for excellence in sculpture. Upon graduation, Lowell started his own custom sign painting business specializing in hand lettering, gold leaf and carved slate signs. Lowell continued to paint signs for more than a decade. Lowell’s paintings and sculptures often reflect his love of nature and the outdoors. His subject matter includes stylistic trees, landscapes, fish and animals. Lowell’s sculpture often contains found objects and organic matter. Lowell currently resides in Pennsylvania with his wife Trisha and their Golden Retriever Sage
